PEOPLE'S PETITION MEMORANDUM To :YAB DATO'SERI ABDULLAH AHMAD BADAWI, PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA. From :CONCERNED CITIZENS OF SABAH,MALAYSIA. Date :4th.March.2009 SUBJECT: APPEAL TO RECONSIDER THE USE OF THE WORD "ALLAH". Yang Amat Berhormat, WE,the concerned citizens of Sabah,are steadfast and guided by the belief in fairness and social justice and the provisions in the Federal Constitution of Malaysia that allows the freedom of religion of it's citizens.The word "ALLAH" has always been used by the Christians to refer to "God" in their publications and preaching without restrictions and knowledge that Christians in other Muslim countries such as Indonesia and Arabia,etc without any problem and the belief in the universality of the word "ALLAH". WE, humbly appeal to the conscience and the wisdom of YAB to reconsider the decision of the Home Ministry so that we can continue to belief in the fairness of the government. WE , the concerned citizens of Sabah Malaysia , humbly appeal that the Christians be allowed to use the word "ALLAH" in Bahasa Malaysia to refer to "GOD" in English
